Lafayette Insulation was founded in 2023 right here in Lafayette, Indiana. We started the company because we kept hearing the same thing from homeowners across Tippecanoe County: they were paying too much to heat and cool their homes, their rooms were uncomfortable in ways they could not explain, and they could not find a contractor who would give them a straight answer about what was actually going on.
Lafayette has a lot of older homes - many built before 1980, some even older than that, especially in neighborhoods near downtown and around Purdue University. These homes were not built with today's insulation standards in mind, and that gap shows up on your utility bill every single month.
